What’s Happening in Las Vegas This September? Your September 2026 Local Guide

September in Las Vegas is one of those months where there is ALWAYS something happening.

We may still have plenty of sunshine, but fall is right around the corner — and September brings concerts, festivals, cultural celebrations, food events, football, and plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy the city.

🎶 Labor Day Weekend in Las Vegas

September 3–7

Las Vegas is kicking off September with a huge Labor Day weekend.

This year's entertainment lineup includes major concerts, comedy, pool parties, dining experiences, and nightlife throughout the Strip.

🎸 FREE Downtown Rocks Concert

September 12

One of the best things about living in Las Vegas?

You don't always have to spend a fortune to enjoy live entertainment.

Protoje takes the stage at Fremont Street Experience on September 12 as part of the FREE Downtown Rocks concert series.

Grab some friends, head downtown, and enjoy live music underneath the lights of Fremont Street.

🇲🇽 Mexican Independence Day Celebrations

September 15–16

September is a HUGE month for Mexican culture and entertainment in Las Vegas.

The city celebrates Mexican Independence Day with concerts, mariachi music, dancing, food, nightlife, and cultural celebrations throughout the valley.

A free El Grito celebration will take place September 15 at the Las Vegas Civic Center with live performances, cultural entertainment and the traditional El Grito de Dolores ceremony.

Fremont Street will also host Mexican Independence Day festivities September 15–16.

And throughout the Strip, you'll find an incredible lineup of Latin artists performing during the celebration.

🎤 iHeartRadio Music Festival

September 18

One of the biggest music weekends of the year returns to Las Vegas!

The iHeartRadio Music Festival brings major artists and fans from around the country to T-Mobile Arena.

If you love live music, this is always one of those quintessential Vegas events worth watching for each year.

🍸 Drink Las Vegas

September 24–27

Foodies, this one's for you.

Drink Las Vegas debuts this September with more than 50 food, cocktail and hospitality experiences spread across several iconic Las Vegas resorts.

Expect everything from tastings and cocktail experiences to chef dinners and special events.

It's another great reminder that Las Vegas has become one of the country's premier food and beverage destinations.

🇬🇷 Las Vegas Greek Food Festival

September 25–27

Come hungry!

The Las Vegas Greek Food Festival returns September 25–27 with Greek food, music, dancing and plenty of community fun.

This is a great option if you're looking for something beyond the Strip and want to experience one of Las Vegas' longstanding local traditions.

🎶 Downtown Rocks: Lauren Alaina & Carly Pearce

September 26

September finishes strong with another night of FREE entertainment downtown.

Country music fans can head to Fremont Street Experience on September 26 for performances from Lauren Alaina and Carly Pearce as part of the Downtown Rocks concert series.

🍷 New Vista Wine Walk

September 26

Looking for a fun date night or adults' night out?

The New Vista Wine Walk returns to Downtown Summerlin on September 26.

Stroll through Downtown Summerlin, enjoy wine tastings, and make an evening out of shopping, dining and entertainment.
